Pros: Cheap, packaged well, looks like a quality product

Cons: bought three. 2 have died.

Other Thoughts: this is the norm for most 360 headsets, m$oft really screwed this up, they should've gone with the bluetooth option like the ps3, 3 years+ 10 headsets dead. hopefully 1freeaday will find some kind of adapter that will the us 360 users use any type of bluetooth headset. there are adapters to use pc microphones but haven't seen any so far on the site, hopefully there will be some soon.

Bottomline: you get what you pay for, not designed for kids abuse. might be better suited for the adult user since the one that lived is mine.

Pros: -very cheap/inexpensive, and it does work-looks very similar to a retail headset

Cons: -build quality seems to be very low. I can barely hear anyone when they talk, and they can barely hear me, even at full volume-the item pictured here and the item I actually got were slightly different. The one I got had no foam on the mouthpiece.-foam ear pad is very thin, some sharp plastic was jabbing my ear while I was playing, going right through the phone, quite uncomfortable.-slight buzzing sound at all times when using this

Bottomline: Great product if you need a new headset but you're on a budget.

Pros: Well built, does the job.

Cons: Firstly note (as you might see looking carefully at hte picture, that the earphone will be at your LEFT ear not your right as the original headset sits (I actually find this a little irritating...think I'm possibly just too used to having people speak in my right ear). THe microphone doesn't have a wind cover like shown on the picture and, perhaps because of this, I have had problems with trying to get my breathing not to sound and also I have had issues with my game sound being echo'd on this mic.Also worth note: It DOES NOT use the connector shown in the pictures (what they've shown is what the NORMAL headset looks like. This one uses only the tiny mobile-headset type jack in the middle. The control for muting the mic fits half way up the wire to your head, which makes it difficult to quickly switch the sound on and off without taking your hand away from your trigger....On the plus side the fact that it lacks to two side connector parts (which don't seem to do anything?) it does, on the plus side, allow those of us with keyboard attachments for our controller who find we cannot plug in our headsets to the bottom to use both the keyboard and the headset.Which is handy.

Other Thoughts: I'd probably go for it. But do remember:1. The mic on/off switch is half way up the wire not on the control pad connector.2. There is no wind cover, you might have echo issues depending on TV volume and you may need to play around with mic position to stop breathing sounds.

Bottomline: It does make a great second mic for having a friend round and overall I would recommend it.

Pros: - Looks almost like the original one- The mic is flexible and can be bended- It fits perfect in the controller- The sound is good

Cons: - Bad packed, can be opened during mail because of the package.- Doesnt have the fluffy background and breathing-noise-cap on the mic that you can see on the picture

Other Thoughts: Its a very good price.. VERY good price.You can break it if you get mad, better than breaking the controller ;)Its nice to have many headsets if you want to play with friends on halo 3 e.g.

Bottomline: I recomend it.Dont buy 1, buy 5!
